Undegraduate Residence Housing Application Cancellation Form

Prior to completing this form, please read the following:

APPLICATION CANCELLATION POLICY (as agreed on your submitted application)

1. Every residence application MUST be accompanied by the $100 application fee.
2. The application fee is fully refundable if your application is cancelled before receiving a housing offer.
3. Pending availability, a room offer will be sent to the email address provided by the applicant in their student records starting early June and throughout the summer.
4. The official date of the room offer will be the date that the email is sent and not the date that the email is read by the student.
5. Students will be required to pay a $300 Room Deposit to accept and hold the room space.
6. If a student wishes to cancel their application, they must do so in writing by submitting the Application Cancellation Form.
7. Upon moving into residence, a $50 credit out of the $100 application fee will be applied to the student’s York University student account.
